Restaurant Week

Hi Everyone,

We will be in New York for the summer restaurant week(s) starting on 7/16. Boy, was I excited when I found that out! There will be three of us, one being my 8 year old daughter. She has traveled alot, eats everything, and is well behaved.

I know there are tons of restaurants to pick from, and some may already be booked, but can anyone recommend some choices that a child might enjoy? Great view, colorful atmosphere, etc.?

There are not that many restaurants with a great view. Ones that happen to be on the rest. week list are

River Cafe (for lunch only)

Water%26#39;s Edge (in Queens but they have a free ferry at 34 st. to take you there which she might enjoy)

Should have added the Terrace Restaurant also has a nice view but imo is less kid friendly and very far uptown.

whiz, is that ferry to Queens different than Ny Watertaxi?

As I understand it, the restaurant has it%26#39;s own complimentary ferry in the evening that picks up at 34 st. %26amp; the East River.
