Birthday present ideas NY style?

A friend of mine is off to NY in 2 weeks. Her bday is approaching soon, so i was thinking of buying her a voucher for an activity whilst in the city. Its her first visit so I was thinking of maybe a TOTR voucher or a museum? Any one any other ideas??

How about tucking a gift certificate into a guide book? I think you can get a dining voucher from a credit card company.

In any case, that%26#39;s a great idea, would also recommend (if they%26#39;re available in England) a Zagat NYC Restaurant Guide, and/or a Central Park Guidebook.

I would mabe get a new york pass for attractions etc....www.newyorkpass.com. I think that will work!

If you do pick up a Central Park Guide, I highly recommend the ';Barnes and Noble Complete Illustrated Map and Guidebook to Central Park'; - excellent maps, good information.

Not sure how accessible it is in England, and no, I%26#39;m not a schill for B%26amp;N, it%26#39;s actually the book they use to train Central Park volunteers.
