Dog Friendly Accomodations

Is there any other place to stay with our dog other than the Golden Knight Inn? I have found it difficult to find a thorough site for accommodations for Watkins Glen.

We%26#39;ve stayed at the Budget Inn on Franklin Street, and Relax Inn in Montrour Falls (just 2 or 3 miles outside of Watkins Glen.)

Both are simple, one-star lodgings--small, 60%26#39;s style motel rooms, but

they%26#39;ll do if you%26#39;re looking to stay right in the area.

If you plan ahead, I know that the Farm Sanctuary near Watkins Glen rents cottages, and dogs are welcome. This is a good tourist attraction whether you stay there or not--they shelter hundreds of farm animals that have been abused or mistreated. I haven%26#39;t stayed here, but I%26#39;ve seen the cottages and they look pretty nice.

There is also a place called Chalet Leon in Hector Falls, just a few miles up from Watkins Glen on the East side of the lake I believe. They are pet friendly!
