Well, the only museum I know of in the LES is the Tenement Museum.

Which ones were you referring to?

There%26#39;s also the Museum of Chinese in the Americas, but that%26#39;s in Chinatown.

The Fire Museum is in Soho.

The Police Museum, Museum of the American Indian, Museum of Finance, Skyscraper Museum, Memorial to the Holocaust and Fraunces Tavern Museum are all in lower Manhattan.

The Tenement Museum is very good....and there are lots of cool things nearby........Sugar Sweet Sunshine (for great cupcakes) and Economy Candy...both on Rivington..........
