We%26#39;re going to be in New York for a week starting July 14. Would there be less crowds on a Sunday or a weekday for the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and the Tennement Museum? We are Irish background and I know my family would really enjoy any specific information about our family or the Irish immigrants - are there any special things we could do? Thank you!!!!
Statue of Liberty on Sunday in July?
Weekdays would be less crowded for SOL/Ellis Island. GEt the first ferry out and enjoy it. If you want to visit the SOL make reservations in advance so that you are not disappointed.

WHen you return check out the Irish Hunger Memorial.

Tenement Museum - book in advance as well.

I recommend the Getting By Tour.
A point of information - this building is not air-conditioned so if the day is very hot, so will the tour. Well worth it, however.
