There is a shuttle but it%26#39;s $25. Makes sense if you%26#39;re alone and have a lot of time but if you%26#39;re 2, it will be not much more (I think) to take a taxi) and it will be quicker. Here are all the options they list on the LGA site.

Have you already bought these tickets? Are you sure you can%26#39;t fly into EWR? What about a flight from JFK. It%26#39;s much closer to LGA.

I really treid to avoid this airpor switching but it was necessary no other ticket was available. ive got 4 hours between flights and i think thats aenoguh time.

ANother thing, does the shuttle bus also operate from jfk to newark?

and how long do you think the trip would be,.

thanks

On the same link I gave you above, if you scroll up the page a bit is the info about going b/w JFK and EWR. That%26#39;s even further away. Yes there%26#39;s a shuttle and it says it takes 2 hrs. 15 mins.

from JFK, I wouldn%26#39;t consider taking the shuttle though, I%26#39;d take a train into Manhattan and from there a train to EWR. I don%26#39;t think 4 hrs. is enough time b/w JFK and EWR and it may be tight b/w from LGA. What happens if your first flight is late, a common occurence here? Whatever you do, make sure you buy this all on one ticket. If it%26#39;s on the same ticket, should you miss your connection they will put you on the next available flight at hopefully no additional charge. If it%26#39;s 2 separate tickets and you miss your second flight, you%26#39;re sunk and will have to buy a new ticket.

I agree with nywhiz regarding your connection time. I fly frequently into and out of all three NYC area airports, and delays are more of the norm than exception. What happens if your first flight is late or if you run into traffic? You may wish to allow yourself more time and understand the fare basis of your ticket to see what would happen if you have to switch to a later flight.

To minimize the chances of delay, pick an early morning flight for your first flight before thunderstorms or air traffic control reasons cause delays at LGA. The skies might look perfect from where you are and at NYC, but they can still find ways to delay your plane.
