The Perfect Saturday

Here%26#39;s my plan so far...

Saturday morning I get up early and put on my running shoes and head out for a day of Urban Hiking. We%26#39;re staying on W45th (any suggestions for a great place to grab a coffee and a bagel??)

First stop - Hell%26#39;s Kitchen Flea Market. Then I plan to wander through the Garment District , check out the Empire State Building, look around in Grennwich Village, do some window shopping in Nolita, pay my respects at the World Trade Center Site, and then make my way across the Brooklyn Bridge.

Is this doable in one day?? About how far is this walk (one way)??

I%26#39;m looking for suggestions for must see places/activities/ or stops along the way for snacks and a cocktail etc. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Many thanks.

The Perfect Saturday

There is nothing in the Garment District to see especially on Saturday. After the ESB, take the subway down to the Village and then you could walk the rest but it will be a lot of walking.
