Hi Guys the trip advisoro site is great . If anyone can recommend a really cool bar with a view for Sunday night drinks - be great if it had a terrace if the weather is good, nice cocktails and a killer view

My favorite is the Rainbow Grill. It%26#39;s very expensive, but you%26#39;re paying for the best view in the city.

Yeah, I know! But still, $19-$20 for a cocktail means it%26#39;s great for a single drink.

Your absolutley right B - 20 USD - 24 AUD is outrageous for a drink no matter how good but I guess just the price we pay for the view. Thx for the advice and if you can think of alternative much appreciated

I also liked Water%26#39;s Edge in Queens and Top of the Tower in the Beekman Tower Hotel.

I agree with Bettina - the Rainbow Grill has one of the great views for any bar anywhere...

My wife and I had two drinks each there about 16 months ago. Total tab with tip was around $90 (that included a tip for the coat check person since it was the winter...)
