hotel near Schenectady Community College??

My college age daughter needs to be at the Schenectady community college-Washington Street- early (7:30 am) on a Friday morning. What would be a close by, not too expensive, in a safe neighborhood for her to spend Thursday night?? Thanks!

Hello, I think probably the Ramada Inn on Nott St. would be OK, though I haven%26#39;t been there in a long time. Would she be able to drive from the hotel down to the college? If so, the Days Inn on Carman Road is nice. I don%26#39;t live in Schenectady anymore but I%26#39;ll check with my family and friends to see what places might be good. I apologize for telling you the motel is the Days Inn instead of the Quality Inn. The road is known by either Carman Rd or Hamburg St. Sorry if I confused you.

Thanks! I appreciate the information. I had actually decided on the Quality Inn because they have breakfast and an Indian Restaurant right there. It is nice to have your added advice.

Hi, I%26#39;m sorry that I just read your post. Don%26#39;t know what happened that I didn%26#39;t see the reply until now. My husband and I just got back last night from a 6 night stay at the Quality Inn. It was great. The owners are very nice and really care about the guests needs. Our room was cleaned, mopped and vacuumed every day. I hope your daughter had as good a stay there as we did. Since I don%26#39;t have family in the immediated area anymore, we%26#39;ll definitely stay there again. Take care..........

One of the replies sends you to the Ramada. It was closed two or three years ago. The best and closest is the Stockade Inn only two blocks away, about 119 per night and in a safe place. You can get them easily on line.
