LGA is closer to Manhattan but JFK has better mass transit to get there. I%26#39;d frankly pick the airline with the best price/schedule for you. If you go to kayak.com you can find all the airlines and prices. Agree Jet Blue is good with decent planes but if someone else is dramatically cheaper, I%26#39;d go for that.

partner (and I until last year) would fly jet blue to lga then connect to orlando or tampa several times a month on business. second recommendation is united.

to me, the jet blue planes are the cleanest and despite the hoopla this past winter, we have never experienced and lengthy delays either way.

I just paid $89 each way from JFK to Orlando for the beginning of September last week and they still had open a ton of flights all pretty much the same price.
