Best transportation from Redding CT to LGA?

I%26#39;ll be visiting relatives in Redding CT. I%26#39;ll will be flying in from Toronto. Is LGA the closest airport? they can%26#39;t drive me to the airport when I%26#39;m leaving, they told me to take the PrimeTime Airport Shuttle. But what%26#39;s the best transportation from Redding to LGA? Thanks!!!
