A friend of mine said there%26#39;s a shoe store in the same location as Filenes Basement where you can buy designer shoes next to nothing. He can%26#39;t remember the name. Does anyone know? Thanks in advance.

Bobby, I just googled 4 Union Square South and DSW did not come up. At least not on the first page (didn%26#39;t check other pages).

Even if I had googled before posting to this forum (assuming that is why you asked I use the internet?), I would not have known what to look for. Have never heard of DSW until now.

This former, single tenant retail building was converted into a modern, multi-tenant retail facility. Major tenants include Whole Foods, Forever21, Filene%26#39;s Basement and DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse).

girlfiredup, it doesn%26#39;t come up with the info BobbyC posted when I google 4 Union Square South either. Possibly google has a different site in Canada compared to the US (as it does in the UK too)

DSW very good for girls - terrible for the men that have to sit through the testings(is that the word?) But you can find some good bargains there.

They also have a nice selection of handbags at DSW. Filene%26#39;s is also a nice place to use the restroom because they%26#39;re pretty clean. It%26#39;s sometimes hard to find a nice, clean restroom in NYC.

My guy friend said he found a pair of Bruno Mali (sp.) shoes for $40. Reg. $450. I%26#39;m not sure how long it took him to find them but he was quite happy about the purchase. :)
